Statements of Scholars on Ikhwanul Muslimeen

AshSheikh Imam Abdhul Azeez Ibnu Baaz (rahimahullah)

Ikhwanul Muslimeen must concern themselves with Ad-Da’wah As-Salafiyyah

Sheikh writes “The Ikhwanul Muslimeen movement has been criticized by the specialized people of knowledge bacause they are not active in calling to Thawheedh and opposing Shirk and opposing innovation. They have particular methods that lead to an  absence of activity in calling to Allah and an absence of attention to the correct Aqeedha that Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah are upon.  So it is befitting for Ikhwanul Muslimeen that they must concern themselves with Ad-Da’wah As-Salafiyyah …”

Ikhwanul Muslimeen are from the 72 misguided sects

[Q]: The prophet (sallallahu alaihi vasallam) said in a hadeeth about the splitting of the ummah, “My ummah shall split up into seventy three sects, all of them being in the fire except for one …” so is Jama’ah At-Thabligh, along with whatever they have from issues of shikr and innovatios, and Jama’ah Al-Ikhwan Al-Muslimeen, along with whatever they have from hizbiyyah (partisanship) and rebelling against rulers, are these two sects included amongst the misguided sects?

[A]: They are included among the (misguided) seventy two sects. And whosoever opposes the Aqeedha of Ahlus Sunnah enters
into the seventy two sects …..

[Q]: Meaning, these two sects are included amongst the seventy two?

[A]: Yes, they are included among the seventy two.

No Proof in the Book and the Sunnah for Ikhwan Al-Muslimeen

Sheikh was asked “Are there any texts from the Book of Allah or the Sunnah of His Prophet (sallallahu alaihi vasallam) that permit the plurality of groups or Al-Ikhwan?”

He answered, “There is not in the Book, nor in the Sunnah that which permits the plurality of Ahzab (parties) and Jama’at  (groups). Rather, there is in the Book and the Sunnah that which rebukes this.”

It is not correct to say Ikhwanul Muslimeen are Ahlus Sunnah

Sheikh said “I say therefore that it is not correct to say that the Ikhwanul Muslimeen are from Ahlus Sunnah, because they wage war against the Sunnah”

Ikhwan are a Sufi Political Group

Sheikh writes ‘Jama’ah Al Ikhwan is a Sufi, Hasafi, political and ideological group that gives importance to that which is outward and apparent at the expense of that which is truly significant. And they gather everybody and his brother within their ranks. So amongst their members is the sunni, the sufi and the Raafidhi, under the slogan, “We co-operate in whatever we agree upon and we excuse each other for whatever disagree about”

AshSheikh Saalih Ibnu Muhammad Al Luhaydan (Hafidhahullah)

Sheikh said “The Ikhwan and Jama’ah At Thabligh are not from the people upon correct manhaj. So all of the Jama’at (groups) and titles have no basis amongst the salaf of the Ummah. And the first group to come into existence and take on a name were the Shi’ah. They called themselves Shi’ah. As for the Khawaarij, then they did not call themselves anything but believers.”

Ikhwanul Muslimeen Allying themselves with the Raafidah

Sheikh said, “So for example, Jama’ah Al Ikhwan: whosoever enters along with them, then they ally themselves with him. And whosoever is not with them, then they oppose him. As for when someone is with them, even if he is from the wickedest of the people, and even if he is from the Raafidah, then he is their brother and their companion. Due to this, it is from their manhaj to gather everybody and his brother, even the Raafidi who hates and detest the Companions (raliAllahu anhum) and who does not accept the truth that came by way of the Companions. When such an individual enters along witht them into their group, then he becomes their companion.

So the individual must take to the path of safety and salvation where he holds fast to the truth and the guidance thath the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi vasallam) and whatever the salaf of this Ummah was upon, those who followed them and traversed their manhaj.”
